Songo Songo West
The Songo Songo West prospect is an undrilled exploration target adjacent to the main Songo Songo field and lies entirely within the Songo Songo Licence. It is a north-south trending tilted fault block and represents the next tilted fault block to the west of the main gas field. It appears that the main field spills hydrocarbons to the west into the Songo Songo West prospect. The prospect is interpreted on seismic data acquired by Orca. Similar reservoirs to the main field are expected to exist with the Songo Songo West prospect.
